This Year's Decorating Color Scheme

Should I have to even give you three guesses what the main color will be?
Nah, I didn't think so........

It is such an easy choice....PINK of course, with touches of silver, pale green, and crystals!
The hardest part is deciding where to put the new pink tree that daughter gave me last year for birthday ~ in the family room or our bedroom!

Christmas Past

Christmas Past

I've still got this Bride Doll ~ she is placed in our bedroom near my wedding cupboard. Think this might be what started me on my addicition to wedding memorabilia?!?

Mother made my sweet Raggedy Ann stocking for me. I do wish she would find it ~ hint HINT!!

I still have the chalkware Santa that is sitting on the middle of the "fireplace" ledge.

I've got a small collection of plastic Christmas trees. This one is the perfect shade of green to go with my Santa Cookie Jar.

I love decorating with my antique mirrors. This one is especially fun to use during the holidays due to its awesome green colored glass edges.

One of my favorite cloth Santas ~ I think I fell in love with him because of the terrycloth bunny. I thought Amy of Bunny Rose Cottage would enjoy this picture!

Some of My Favorite Things

Some of My Favorite Things

This picture of my granddaughter was taken several years ago next to our bedroom tree.

Becca, do you see your little white Santa next to my vintage pink bottle brush tree?!?

I have several pieces of Christmas jewelry that I love. This is a Jewelry John Nativity Bell necklace.

Anyone that knows me at all knows of my love of antique mirrors. I collect them & also sell them on eBay. Here are several of my favorites decorated with handpainted Christmas balls for the holidays.

Mirrors & Chandy Decorations

Mirrors & Chandy Decorations

I collect (and sell) antique mirrors, so I always try to incorporate them into my decorating scheme.

Antique European Scallop & Diamond Point Beveled Mirror as a Plateau Mirror
with my favorite cherub compote full of silver & Paris pink handpainted roses Christmas Balls made by my friend Jennifer of Jennifer's Petal Palace.

Small Venetian Glass Beveled Mirror ornament that my friend Amy of Bunny Rose Cottage gifted me with last Christmas

I have a huge addiction to gorgeous lighting so I thought that one of Mary of Oh Merci's mini chandeliers was a fitting decoration for me. This one stays out year round!

Dining Room Table Santa on Antique Mirror

Dining Room Table Santa on Antique Mirror

This is my very favorite icy blue Victorian Santa. He has been placed atop an antique beveled glass mirror on our dining room table along with some of my silver bottle brush trees & blue mirrored ornaments. I will also be decorating my chandelier & will picture it soon.
