Vintage Ornies in Hurricane Globe

My sweet friend Leann of The Old Parsonage who also shares a love of all things Christmas prompted me to come back to my Christmas blog. She had visited today and left a kind comment and I thought, gosh, I've neglected this lil blog for too long. I'll try to start sharing more often from now on thru the holidays!

I'm linking up with my new friend Denise who also has a Christmas blog here:

VINTAGE ORNAMENTS ARE AN ADDICTION!

Hello, My name is Stephanie......

and I am addicted......

I collect vintage ornaments......

and storing them in the "off season" is becoming a bit of a problem!

But oh how those Shiny Brites, double indents, snow-capped and stenciled ones, unsilvered war-time ones, and tiny figurals just make my heart skip a beat!

I'm having soooo much fun unpacking them all!

VINTAGE PINK ORNAMENTS

VINTAGE PINK ORNAMENTS

I love vintage ornaments. Some day I'll have amassed enough to do my entire tree in nothing but vintage pieces. I recently bought these two little unusual beauties to add to my pink tree.

I love icicle shapes, stenciled vintage ornaments.....

Glittered, cracked & crazed & faded.....see the adorable little glass horn?!?

Special shapes like roses and bells and pinecones.....

Tear drops, double indents, and angels (like the one I gave as party favors for my 10th birthday party! .....

This is how my pink tree in the family room is coming together. I'll show the completed tree on the 15th, the day that my sweet friend Deena of Can I Be Pretty in Pink is hostessing a CHRISTMAS DELIGHTS Party! Check out her blog here to sign up with Mr. Linky to participate!!

Sharing PINK Christmas Love

Sharing PINK Christmas Love

This picture shows my pink bottle brush tree that I've had almost all my life. It is always displayed in my bedroom.

These ornaments are new but they have such a great vintage styling to them. I got them at Kohl's last year.

Most of the ornaments that I use on our family room tree are vintage. I'm in love with balls that are stenciled or have indents, or that are tear-drop shape, or have flocking or mica or glitter on them!!

Christmas Hugs,
